Horizontal Scroll Documentation Page

Innovation and expansion of skills are demonstrated in project.

Horizontal Scroll Website

I have always loved the horizontal scroll website, but I never made one. This is definitely a hard task to accomplish. This is a little more complicated that the regular website. You have to design the different pages, then have them scroll horizontally. I was able to complete a simple scroll website. This type of website is mainly for artists or photographers, due to the scrolling. I wanted to do a website without a lot of photos or content. I just wanted to try to complete the basic layout. I loved learning this trend.

Project and code is 100% functional when viewed in at least one browser with page meeting web coding and design standards.

I used Google Chrome for this project. For testing, I used W3C HTML and CSS validation service. To incorporate the web and design standards, I have a HTML and CSS template I use for all my web pages. I just delete what I don't need or add what I do need. The template helps me to not forget any of the basics. I also have a few checklists I use to make sure my web pages have everything it needs.

Reflection includes description of sources used, difficulties encountered, and skills gained.

I really did not have any difficulties creating this website. The skills I gained was to learn how to create a horizontal scroll website from scratch. I also learned how to add content to the pages, and work with gradients. And I learned how to create a horizontal scroll element to a webpage.
